Unable to connect to Pi server through hostname

Recently one of our Pi users switched to a new computer and brought along  ProcessBook trends that reference Pi points with the hostname. I can only get the server to connect with the IP address and am unable to perform a host name resolution with the SDK Utility. Rather than recreating the trends with the IP address, is there another method of correcting the connect to the hostname?

          HI Tucker

Thanks for posting on PI Square,

There's a couple of ways to do this.  The easiest way is to open up the AboutPI-SDK utility and alter the connection information of the PI Server.

You can change the network node information to be the IP Address of the PI Server.  This should resolve the data flow issue (you may need to restart processbook).

Along the same principals, you can create a host file entry that directs the hostname to the IP Address of the PI Server. The host file is found %windir%\System32\Drivers\etc

Please let us know if any of the 2 methods works for you.
