PI Notifications  - Different users - Same template

    LSalas

We want to send notifications based in an specific element. We have different users responsible for each substation. Users responsible for Substation1 should receive only notifications for pump11, pump12, pump13.

Notifications are at Pump level, so putting the subscriber for the notifications  in the template will send notifications for all pumps to all users.  I know, I can put the subscriber by element. There are more than 500 pumps. Do I need to do it manually, one by one?

      Do you have another idea?

      We have the next structure.

      SUBSTATION1

           PUMP11

           PUMP12

           PUMP13

      SUBSTATION2

           PUMP21

           PUMP22

           PUMP23

      SUBSTATION3

           PUMP31

           PUMP32

           PUMP33

      SUBSTATIONX

           PUMPx1

           PUMPx2

           PUMPx3

      Thanks

In PI AF 2017 R2, per the release notes "users can configure notification email delivery endpoints dynamically via an attribute value providing additional flexibility in configuring notification rules.".  You still have to find a way to apply the email to each element; however, you might be able to take advantage of an AF Tablelookup to assign the contact.  Also, you can use the string builder data refrence and assign the email address at the substation level.
