Hi Frédéric,
Which version of the PI Buffer Subsystem are you running? In the newer version (4.3.0.28 if my memory serves me right), the information is in the Buffering Manager (estimated buffer capacity). You can access the buffer manager from PI ICU or PI System Explorer (tools > buffering manager).
Hope this helps,
Seb

fharvey17 Jan 23, 2018 8:37 PM (in response to sraposo)We currently use the version 3.4.380.79 of PI Buffer Subsystem. I can't get to find that "Buffering Manager".
But if I find it, will I get a result that would be time based ?
Like : 2h before the buffer is full.

1 of 1 people found this helpfulI would suggest upgrading your PI Buffer Subsystem as the newer versions are significantly more stable and less prone to corruption if the machine stops ungracefully. That being said, you could estimate the amount of data flowing through the buffer by looking at the Network Manager Statistics in PI SMT, finding the pibufss connection and looking at the BytesReceived for the elapsed time and extrapolate from there. Note that since the dataflow is not always constant it is still only a rough estimate.
For reference, here is what the Buffering Manager looks like (ICU -> Tools -> Buffering)
