How do I get access to the OSIsoft plant database. The Asset based PI example kits do not list this example.
I have a VLE setup and running but do not see this example, just databases under OSIDemo XXXX names.
Hi Christoph Viehoff, I see that you launched the "Asset Based PI Example Kit" from our monthly VLE subscription. The monthly subscription VMs include different environments tailored for short hands-on labs (typically meant for 2-3 hour duration) but these machines are scheduled to reboot every 8 hours to help us save some resources. For this reason, we have created separate optional online course VMs that run for 21 days straight. The course VLE should be called "VLE Access-Small Private Online Courses General." and this includes the OSIsoft Plant database as well. Please let me know if you meant to sign up for this; I'll be more than happy to help you switch to this environment.
If you don't mind your machines re-setting every 8 hours, you can also import these files to create the same database: OSIsoft Plant.zip.
If you have any questions about the VLE, please don't hesitate to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Yes it would be great if you could help me switch this. Let me know what I need to do on my side.

I imported the OSI plant via PSE but on the client machine I can only navigate the tags but don't get any real data since the tags data references are looking fro pisrv1. The pivision is looking for pisrv01.
are looking for pserv1
Hi Christoph Viehoff, Sorry to hear that you had troubles importing the demo structure. I just checked and verified the same database is already uploaded in the lab below. You can simply launch this session:
UC 2017 Hands-on Lab: Building Displays with the new PI Vision 2017
Let me know if this works.
The only database visible is the waste watch Ltd . Nothing else on pisrv01. Where did you see the osi plant database?
May we could have a remote session with you, so I could have a look? Most likely the DB is not added in the list for PI Vision. During the remote I could show how to do this. What time will suite you?
I am at a OSI training class in San Leandro next week. Maybe on the 19th ?
Np, let me know when you are available.
