Your application needs a number of assemblies in addition to the core OSIsoft.AFSDK.dll. The recommended way to deploy this is to install the AF Client package on the target machine as a pre-requisite. You can select to not install certain UI based components (PI System Explorer, PI Builder, Management plugin etc), and only install the AFSDK assemblies component:
If for some reason you are targetting .NET 3.5, then obviously you will need to select that component. This is the only supported and recommended way of deploying the AFSDK.

Note that the .NET 3.5 components require PISDK to be installed which a separate installer.
