I recently read a white paper about pulling PI data into MATLAB. The paper mentioned that I can download the .m files as a pack called 'PItoMATLAB.zip' however, I cannot find this. Anyone have any ideas?
Dave, if you navigate in the Library to White Papers and Tutorials>Miscellaneous>White Paper - Using PI Data with MATLAB you see below that a Supporting Files - there it is :-)
Doh! missed that, thank you
Offtopic: Can't help but read that with a Homer Simpson voice...
Hi Guys, i know it's been a few years but it seems like the file does not exist anymore. Would anyone happen to have any insight on this? Do i need the 'PItoMATLAB.zip' to do queries on MATLAB? Thanks!
I believe you are asking for install kit of the PI-to-MATLAB Utility as it was shared with White Paper - Using the PI-to-MATLAB Utility. The reason why the link isn't working anymore / the ZIP file isn't available anymore is explained in Important update to OSIsoft's GitHub Policy, November 2018.
There however exist different options to get PI System data into MATLAB. Please see Can we send data from PI to Matlab? - PI System Access (PSA). There also exist additional related content in the forums like this other White Paper.
Makes sense now, Gregor! Thank you so much for the help!
