Is there a way to add a "note" section to a Processbook display that allow users to add log entries?
Thanks to all who replied with their suggestions. We were able to solve the original question as follows:
This solution involves a MS Word document previously created and saved. Save it as "Test Log Entries Document". In a Processbook display, create a button. Place this button at the top of the page. Add a label, i.e., "Open Log Document", for the "Action", browse to the "Test Log Entries Document" file and select. For the Options, uncheck "Open display in new window" and "Ignore default shell command for recognized file types". Click OK. To open the "Test Log Entries Document" press on the button. The Word document will open. You can size it to fit the display and move it to the place you want it to display the next time you open the document. It remembers the placement and size next time it is opened. You can make entries in the document and "save" them in Word. This is important because entries are managed by MS Word not Processbook. If you click in any area in the Processbook outside the Word document, it will minimize to the taskbar. This is normal, to display it again, simply click on the document in the taskbar. There you have it.
This works great for us. Hope someone else finds this useful.
I believe you are asking for Annotations. Please see this learning video.
Thanks I will share this with our power user who asked about it.
