I am not familiar with all of the UC lab environments, so I reached out to our Learning Team to review your question, and provide their advice.
In the meantime, however, I wanted to make sure you were aware of the Configuring a Simple PI System - Cloud Environment offering. This environment was created specifically for the "Configuring a Simple PI System" course, so it'd be the most appropriate one to use, if you were able to do so.
Hi Máté, as Taylor mentioned above, our recommendation would be to use the Configuring a Simple PI System - Cloud Environment that is designed specifically for the "Configuring a Simple PI System" online course materials. This cloud environment consists of three virtual machines that run 21 days since they are first launched in order to give students enough time to work on the course materials.
The Hands-on Labs - Cloud Environments (21 Day Pass) includes different cloud environments for over 50 different short hands-on labs. Each lab typically takes 2-3 hours to complete, and therefore, this subscription has shorter session time (8 hours per lab environment) and would not be suitable to complete the Configuring a Simple PI System online course. For more information on the cloud environment, visit Online Course FAQs> What is the Cloud Environment.
