Yokogawa interface collecting data from wrong tags

    hdhansen

Every time I add a tag to my Yokogawa interface, it shifts some values to other tags. For example, I add TIMER10.PV to the interface. Now TIMER1.PV (on the Yokogawa) is being collected and stored as TIMER2.PV in Pi; TIMER2.PV is now being collected and stored as TIMER3.PV. And on it goes. Stopping and restarting the interface fixes the problem, but I would like to know how to avoid this in the future.

      Thank you!

          Hi Holly,

Thanks for reaching out to us on PI Square. For clarity's sake, are we talking about a Yokogawa DCS connecting to the PI OPC DA Interface? Or about a PI Yokogawa ACG Interface? In either case, adding new tags should never affect the data fidelity of existing tags on an interface. When you add new tags and they're picked up by the interface, do you see any messages in the logs about editing existing tags?

          Cheers,

          Rob
