We would like to scroll a set of PI Vision webpages on a large screen monitor. Has anyone doing this? Can we do this with existing software or will we need to purchase something?
I know there are several web applets for Chrome that will scroll through open tabs. Is that what you are looking for?
Yes, if that would allow us to essentially loop thru several PI Vision displays. Would this require several instances of PI Vision running in the browser?
It would, as each tab would stay open in Chrome. If you are using this for display purposes, keeping the displays open would also reduce any loading times for data.
Do you have the name of the applets for Chrome that would do this for us?
I found a Chrome extension called "Automatic Scrolling Tabs". It works perfectly for automatically scrolling thru a set of Chrome tabs. Thanks Robbie for the suggestion and comments.
You are welcome. There maybe a more direct way to do this through scripting, but if it does the job for you that is all that matters.
You can try using the Fit to screen option in PI Vision display. That will automatically adjust your display based on the screen size.
