Dear community members,

I am looking into ways of creating a bi-linear interpolation to lookup a result in a AF table. I have found an old post from 2013 indicating that this was not possible directly (needed lengthy roundabout way).

I was wondering if some development/smart ideas had come up on that topic since. Just to clarify below is a description of what I am attempting:

* table is structured with 3 columns (X,Y,R)

* I have a realtime value for X and Y and would like to get the corresponding R. Of course the Xs and Ys in the table do not match the realtime values.

Thank you for your time,

Pierre

Bi-linear interpolation for AF Tables is now supported in the PI AF 2018 (2.10.0) release. See 'Examples of linear and bilinear interpolation in table lookup data references' topic in the documentation.
