          instead of answering your question, I would like to know why you are trying to use explicit login? it is not our recommended approach to authentication.

              Hi Lee,

              I'm not doing any explicit login.

              In SMT there are bulk of users which i have to enable PI access ( remove from user is disabled flag ).

              I'm trying to find to script to enable at once instead of doing one by one.

              Regards,

              Divya

                  Thanks for clarifying.

                  The bits for invalid flag and flag is the same.

                  8 = User cannot be deleted

                  1 = User is disabled

                  2 = User cannot be used in a Mapping

                  4 = User cannot be used in a Trust

                  16 = User cannot be used for an explicit login

                  In your case, you want to uncheck 'User is disabled'. So you can use something like.

                  * (Ed - PIIDENT) PIconfig> @istr ident,flags

                  * (Ed - PIIDENT) PIconfig> pisupervisors,16

                  *> pisupervisors,16

                  This will result in the identity being enabled and not being allowed to use in an explicit login (recommended).

                  Do take note that if you are doing this in bulk, you should take special care of piadmin,piadmins and piworld.

                  Ident , Flags , InvalidFlags

                  piadmin,24,9

                  piadmins,24,24

                  PIWorld,30,30

                  The values above are the defaults.
