I think the best bet with this sort of issue is to give tech support a call and lodge a ticket as there could be a few different things going on such as; archive subsystem being disabled, snapshot problem, server not configured properly and there could be more.
Would that be okay?
Yes that would be great. I would be happy to allow someone from Osisoft with some skill and understanding to remote into my computer and help me out with this problem.
Could you please check below options.
1) Using PI SDK request you to check if you are able to make connection to PI DataArchive from Interface node.
2) Check PISDK message logs for any issues with autentication or subsystem issues.
3) Check the time zone on the interface node and PI server.
4) Make sure all subsystems are running on the PI Server(especially snapshot, update manager and messaging subsystem)
Hey, just mentioning I got on the phone with an OSIsoft technician. For whatever reason, the pi message log service did not auto start with the interface. I just opened up the "Services" in Microsoft windows and ran the application and that worked.
Was very simple. It's been working fine since.
Thank you to everyone for your attempt at helping.
