I can not find any information on this error
Request you to check the KB article :Crashing or slowness deleting new points with PI Interfaces built with UniInt 4.1.x
Work around : Restart the interface before deleting points. Wait at least 2 minutes before deleting any points that have just been created.
Can you check that your interface identity has read access to the pi points?
Interface is supplying data with no issues. At the moment, the error does seems to have subsided.
I would second Angelo's comment; this error message is seen when the PI identity for the interface does not have read access to the ptsecurity on those PI points. You can check this out in PI SMT. Adding read access to the points ptsecurity should the allow points to be updates in the interface.
piadmin: A(r,w) | piadmins: A(r,w) | PiReader: A(r) | PiReadWrite: A(r) | PIInterfaces: A(r) | PIBuffers: A(r)
This is the same security setup as 10 of our other sites.
It is the same version of the OPCint as 10 of our other sites.
If you look at the Network Manager Statistics and/or the message logs on the PI Data Archive when starting the interface, can you confirm that the interface is being given the "PIInterfaces" identity?
here is the network manager info
Looks like the interfaces and pibufss are connected with the right identity and that the PIPOINT security database is correctly set up. The last success criteria would be the security on the points themselves since PtSecurity and DataSecurity is not automatically propagated to the points after editing the PIPOINT database. Seems like the interface identity (PIInterfaces) does not have read access to the PtSecurity for the points in error.
Lastly, if you have a PI Server collective, then make sure it is in sync. The interface will only load up tag information for the server defined in /HOST in the interface configuration (batch file).
