    pi ole db

I have 5 PI Arc. servers (w/5 licenses) around the U.S. I want to use PI OLE DB with dot.net. Do I need to pump out more cash? for PI OLE DB provider?

or should I be thinking of PI SQL Client 2018??

          Hi Daniel

PI OLEDB belongs to Developer technologies. If you are having PSA license it should cover.  Request you to get in touch with OSIsoft Account manager for PSA license if not already available.

            Hi Daniel,

Besides the license issue, PI SQL Client 2018 requires you to have AF Server 2018 with RTQP Engine installed as well as AF Database.

It will not work with vanilla PI Data Archive. Be sure to check all your interested tags are mapped to your Assets and Attributes!
