capturing front-end and back-end averages to attributes using event frames

Question asked by kxb4 on Nov 19, 2018

I have a challenge in trying to get an event frame - or it could be a set of event frames- to capture an event based on an attribute value change, then present a 30 minute average of two separate sets of element attributes, one starting 4 hours before the start of the event trigger, and one 4 hours later. I thought I could do this by making the event frame duration be 30 minutes by forcing the trigger to be timed every 30 minutes, and then configure the required event frame attribute relative retrieval time and method to -4h and time weighted average and +4h and time weighted average, but these seem to give the average from the -4h to end of event frame or from start of event frame to +4h and not just the 30 minute average at the 4 hour time offsets ahead and behind the event. Am I missing an easy way to do this?

thanks for any help!
