Is it possible without doing an history recovery for all points?
You can set instance id to different ID and use location 1 in secondary interface to backfill and specify the time period for recovery. Once backfilling is done revert the instance id to original and location 1 of PI Point to original.
Could you please let us know what you are trying to achieve? If you are looking for some data gap backfill from source system then you an use OPC HDA interface with specific time period. If it is related to calculation then you can use AF analysis for recalculation.
It is a gap on one point from a source system (it is not a calculation).
I have a second ICU interface that I use for History Recovery when I need all points to be backfill but this time I have only one point with a gap that I would like to fill.
Can I do specificly for this point ?
(I did recovery for this time period for all interface and the gap is still there.)
If possible, real-time data should continu to pass or be offline for very shirt period.
Is your PI Point derived by calculation like PE? If so, PIConfig is one of the option to repopulate for a PI Point.
If this is an interface and you still want real-time data, you could send up a second instance. Give the second interface a unique interface id and create a new tag matching point source and interface ID. Backfill only that tag and then merge using your favorite method into the original point with the gab. If you don't need real-time data, you could just change interface id/point source to match the single point and perform a backfill.
