Daylight saving to EST--PI JDBC

I'm retrieving data in piarchive..pimax  though JDBC for a summer day, and I noticed there is one less hour on the day that changed to daylight saving time, and one extra hour on the day change back to EST. So I think this means the PI database compensate for this change--meaning the time retrieved for summer days is actually daylight saving time as in real life. I'm wondering if there is any command/ settings/ SQL query that I can use, so the retrieved data and time is always on EST? (Other than hard code one hour offset for daylight saving in Java)

I know the Time Zone = Server/Local/UTC does not work for JDBC.

Thank you,
