Calculating Maximum Value of an Attribute Before Event Frame Start

We have an application that generates event frames. We'd like one attribute to be the minimum value of an AF attribute during a time range ending at the START of the event frame, and starting a configurable number of minutes before the start of the event frame.

The closest I've come to this is the data reference: |Rate;TimeMethod=TimeRangeOverride;RelativeTime=%@GoBack%;TimeRangeMethod=Minimum

However, this is calculating the minimum from 15 minutes before the event frame start (good) to the end of the event frame (bad).

As I said, these event frames are generated by an application, so there is no opportunity to do anything in an event frame analysis.

Any suggestions on what I can do?
