Do we have any way to extract the start and end time of an event frame in AF to get last data gap duration?
You have following options
Option 1: PI Builder -->Event Frames
Option 2: PI Datalink --> Explore
Option 3: Event Frames--> AF --> Search all event frames--> Right Click and Export
In addition to Lal's response you could use PI OLEDB Enterprise. This product requires some knowledge of SQL queries. If you would like an example, let us know!
HI Raposo and Lal,
But my requirement is to get start and end time of event frame, to be stored as tags so that i can display this information in PI Vision screen. Can't use PI Builder or datalink for Visualization.
I would suggest you to use PI Vision Event Table to display all the event frames generated. This doesnot require any additional backend configuration or addtional PI Points for start and end time.
Step 1: Event Frames in PI Vision
Step 2: Select the criteria
Step 3: Event frame Table
PI Vision Event Frame Table : PI Vision

I agree with Lal, the event table is meant for this use case!
But i want to display other attributes of AF element attributes pertaining to the generated event frame, along with the event start and end time(dashboard kind of vision screen). Is there a way to do this?
yes I have knowledge on SQL queries and requires example for PI OLEDB.
