I encountered the following error while attempting to establish connection with OSI.DA.1 server - OSI.HDA.1 works fine albeit.
Wasn't able to find anything helpful on the web
Hi Raja,For the PI OPC Server, this error can also be caused by multiple OPC processes running simultaneously. You can use Task Manager to check.
This article has more information.
I have branched your reply to Unable to Connect into a new question.
The error you are getting indicates insufficient memory resources: 0x8007000e (-2147024882) - Not enough memory resources are available to complete this operation.
I managed to fix the problem - not certain which of the following did the trick
1. Re-added the service account to DCOM PI OPC DA security and granted full access
2. As you stated, there were duplicate OPC-DA processes running - killed the processes.
3. The service OPC DA was running under a service account - made it run as Local System and reverted to Service Account later.
On the surface, the problem seems to have been solved - however, I still see the duplicate process running.
