PI Vision Import Folder on Network Share

We have a PI Vision install where local import folders work to show Processbook displays with no issue.

The majority of corporate displays however are stored in a network share on a different machine.

The remote machine is on the same subnet, yet separated with a firewall. When we try to add the share in Vision, it immediately throws a red x and an internal HTTP 500 error.

Has anyone had experience with this?

Is there a different port that Vision uses for Import folders that might need to be opened on the firewall? We can access the share through Windows Explorer on the same machine and read all the files, so I don't believe it is a permission issue.

I read something somewhere that Kerberos authentication might not get carried through two hops to a destination.

Share permissions have been granted and verified for the service account to access the share.

We're stuck at this point. We've tried using IP, netbios name, FDQN. Changed a bunch of things in IIS. Nothing works.
