AF Analytics: how to find that one problem in an ocean of analytics running?

Hi all,

So i have a system here which has run >1billion Analysis evaluations, Skipped count = 0, system is scaled properly so zero indication of something being wrong.

However there are instances where i have a simple Event-triggered Analysis which just is not evaluated or the results are not stored. I am certain the event happened in sequence because i have another application signed up to tag updates which logged the event that Analytics missed.

Anyhow, one could turn on Tracing on the Analytics engine, but with such a high load on Analytics, that would mean i would create an ocean of logging waiting for that one occurrence onve every few weeks that this specific one fails. How to deal with such a scenario?

In the meantime i did create a feedback item for enabling tracing on a single Analysis: Enable tracing for one individual Analysis – User Feedback for OSIsoft Products and Services
