Is there any way to trigger execution of some custom code when value of an AFattribute is modified?

Is there a standard way in AF to trigger execution of some custom code on the event of some AFAttribute value being  updated. The idea is similar to database triggers in a relational database. Say for example if the value of attribute A1 is modified it should trigger execution of some custom code that will update the value of attribute A2 & A3. The attributes A1, A2 & A3 are simple string or numeric type and does not have any data references of any kind and they all belong to different but related Elements.

In other words, can an AFAttribute be configured to raise/publish an event, when the value is updated?

I am using AFSDK version 2.2.

Any suggestion will be very much appreciated

      Best Regards,
