Hi, someone knows if JDBC 1.1 is compatible with PI Server 5.6 and if there are relevant issues using java8? Thanks
I am not sure if I understand your questions clearly. Could you check on your PI Server version? PI Data Archive version normally either go by the year or start with 3.4.xxx format.
To access PI data via JDBC standard, you require PI JDBC Driver, which is a JDBC 4.1 compliant. The latest PI JDBC Driver(2018) includes a tested scenario on JRE SE 8.01720.0.
More details can be found in this online LiveLibrary user guide.
Thanks a Lot Jinmo, I'll check with customer the right version soon. Please can you send me the link to download the updated jdbc library?

There aren't many JDBC products so you just need to search PI JDBC Driver. But in order to use PI JDBC Driver, you will also need PI SQL Data Access Server (OLE DB) and/or PI OLEDB Enterprise.
