Different Sample Resolution for Identical Tags

Hi!

We have two tags that are fed from the same OPC interface. These tags are identical in all settings, apart from creation time etc., and of course have different instrument tags. One of these tags has a very different sample resolution in the archive.

How can this be?

I verified that data is coming in by creating a third tag with the same settings as the existing tag that has the lower sample resolution, but then reducing the compression and exception deviation by a factor of 10. The new tag then has a higher resolution, which confirms that data is received from the interface in high resolution (I think).

Attached is a trend of these tags, red is high resolution, blue is low resolution, yellow is the same as blue but with lower deviation settings.

I currently can't access the interface because it runs on a production machine, but I'm in the process of getting access.

Please let me know if you need additional information.

Thanks in advance,

Viktor
