Hi every one,
On my company we need to see the dashboard of pi vision on my cellphone.
What I need to do that?
It is possible?
Yes, all versions of PI Vision (as opposed to its predecessor, PI Coresight) are HTML5 compatible. So if your phone's browser supports that (and all iPhones and Android-based phones do, I believe), then you can.
Now, your Vision server must be Internet-accessible, or your phone must be able to VPN into your business network. But I use Vision on my iPad all the time. Screen size on a phone may be an issue, but you will have to decide that for yourself.
It´s correct, but I see that´s not responsive.
I have an dashboard of mineral process, and it is responsive.
Thanks all for your suggestion
When you use a cell phone to access PI Vision, it will get redirected to the mobile version of PI Vision. https://<ServerName>/PIVision/m/
If you try to prevent it from redirect to the mobile version, you will be able to see everything just like your desktop web browser.
The live library here mentioned how to prevent this redirect.
Anyway, just install PI Vision on a web server and you should be able to access PI Vision dashboard from cellphone smart devices.
we are using PI Vision displays on our phone or iPad's. we are not using the mobile version but instead have exposed the Pi Vision application externally. It is managed through a reverse proxy and is accessible only to a set of users that are part of an AD group. You can check with your IT team on what options they have to expose it externally.
