Shouldn't the event frame close in the above scenario?
Start trigger: TagVal > MaxVal
End Trigger: Tagval < MaxVal or Hour('*') = 17
In this case no the event frame would remain open. The value at the last trigger for the End Trigger is false. It's only true when the Evaluate button was pressed in PSE. How is the event frame analysis triggered (periodic or event triggered) ?
Hi Sebastiend, it is event triggered.
I tried it in real time too, thats just a screen grab.
I am not sure whats the issue, as i tried multiple options, but the event frame just oes not close when i give two conditions in end trigger.
I am planning to raise a case
I guess there is some issue with time and end trigger, even if the evalute is true for 3.20 , the system just is not closing the event frame.
The Event Frame will not trigger evaluation at 3.20 unless there is a new value to the attributes 'TagValue' or the 'Max Threshold' at that time since they are scheduled as "Event-Triggered". Try scheduling the Event frame analysis as "Periodic" for say every 5 minutes or so and you should be able to see it close if it evaluates at that period of time.
In that case, if the condition is true every time the periodic cycles evaluates won't we have multiple event frames generated
On keeping it periodic, the below happens
every 5 seconds i have an event frame,
This is expected result for periodic scheduling. Could you please add another condition in end trigger i.e. If Process value i.e. "TagValue" is less then "Max Threshold" and time equal to 03:20. Please run as periodic and recalculate the same.
Could arrive at the solution the way i wanted it to work
Made use of the Daysec() function
