How to name child events as shown in below snap,
But i get something like this,
I have the exact same question.
There is a way to map Start triggers to an attribute as follows,
1. Create attribute in Eventframe template ,
2. Go to Analysis - Event frame the click Advance eventframe setting and map your attribute in trigger setting first option,
3. Use this attribute in PI Datalink or configure this attribute to naming pattern to get event Name as start trigger,
Thank you for your reply, I will try this.
First screen shot looks like batch. If you need hierarchy or batch structure then you should be EFGen to generate similar.
If you requirement is only to generate event frame based on attribute value then use .\Element[.]|Attribute to generate based on value.
I agree with Lal, the Event Frame structure here seems to be that of a parent event with multiple child events that are phases of the parent event. Asset Analytics child event frame feature is typically used to assign severity or for root cause analysis. This is explained in the documentation here:
We have this enhancement request I'd recommend up voting: Ability to create child Events (EFs) – User Feedback for OSIsoft Products and Services
I know for certain that that OSIsoft demo was made using EFGen and it might date back as far as the Vcampus days!
