I want to discard/ignore the 1st start trigger before starting the 2nd trigger so that 1st start trigger does not display in the report (I dont want to define an end trigger here).
We have 2018 sp2.
Are you referring to Event Frames generated by the PI Analysis Service? You can use and if statement with PrevVal() in your start trigger configuration to do this.
I have two scenarios to capture. Partial downtime and full downtime.
Partial downtime captures when the condition did not match and the actual value <expected value. The trigger is generating OK at this stage. But if the actual value is decreasing still more gradually the trigger should not capture, however event will generate if the actual value is increasing to the expected value.
Full downtime- when the value is 0, no capacity. Te trigger is generating ok in AF.
Now my requirement is when the value is decreasing slowly towards 0, already generated trigger (Partial trigger) should not appear in the report . The trigger will only appear when it's increasing to the full capacity. I'm unsure how to handle this in AF or Pi vision to see displays only full downtime and partial downtime , but not capture the slowness towards full downtime (If the slowness continues)
Hope I'm clear.
