If go to SMT--> View--> Setting --> Time format, I can see the different times on it, Please see the below image.
On other Collective member, it is working fine.
Does any one have idea about it?
I've just checked it on my system and apparently PI SMT shows UTC time while the Region window is showing time zone set for the machine. Can you check what are time zones on both Collective members?
Both PI servers are in (UTC-07:00) Mountain Time (US & Canada) and it is matching with the region on SMT. But in setting-->Time format is not.
In this case, SMT should be getting the time from the windows clock of the local machine it is running on. However, the time that SMT shows in View -> Settings -> Time Settings will reflect the time when SMT was opened, not the current time.
If you close and reopen SMT, as well as close reopen windows clock settings, are you still seeing a discrepancy?
Yes Adam, you are correct. I know this.
This is something different. Discrepancy is still there.
This is also causing, Primary and Secondary Archive data time mismatches if i open archive data on secondary.
1. if i open SMT--> archive data on primary PI server, and i connect Primary as well as secondary, it shows correct data with correct timestamp in secondary. which is sync with Primary data
Primary server- and connected to Primary only
Primary server- Connected to Secondary
2. And If i open SMT--> archive data on Primary as well as Secondary PI server at a time, and connect Primary server on Primary and secondary on secondary PI server, data and its timestamp is not matching with each other. Please have a look into below snippet for both the scenario.
Secondary server- Connected to secondary PI server
Let me answer to my own question.
Localhost.tz file was wrong on the secondary.
I have copied the primary localhost.tz file to secondary and restarted the secondary. it worked.
