Compressing for backfilled data

Dear all,

I have an analysis that evaluates a temperature signal everytime that it changes and writes a 0,1 or 2 depending on the value of the temperature. As the temperature is changing altmost every second the analysis write constantly a new value. The final user only wants to see either a change in the analysis result with a difference of +/-1 or if the result of the analysis doesn't change it will be stored each day.

In order to reach this I've configured the pi tag linked with the output of the analysis as follows:

Compressing = 1
CompDev = 1
CompDevPercent = 1
Step = Off
CompMax = 86400 (1d)

The PI tags have been created during this current week but I need the results of the analysis since we started to collecting the temperature signal so I've executing a backfilling on the analysis. As you will see in the following image the backfilling works well until a concret period of time. After this date it seems that the compression is not working any more.

Thank you in advanced for your support.

Best regards,

Julio
