How to get AF Path from AFAnalysisRuleResolvedOutput

I have an IList<AFAnalysisRuleResolvedOutput> from an AFAnalysis.AnalysisRule.GetConfiguration().  I would like to get the full element\attribute AF path to the resolved attribute. Something like "\root element\child element|parent attribute|child attribute".  For attributes with a data reference I found what feels like an indirect method by using AFAnalysisRuleResolvedOutput.Attribute.DataReference.Path.  But again this feels indirect and more importantly doesn't work on attributes with a None data reference.  How can I specifically get the full AF path from an IAFAttribute that has no data reference?
