How to not set a start date for an AFEventFrame?

I'm trying to create an AFEventFrame that doesn't have a start and end time yet.

Not calling AFEventFrame.SetEndTime(object endTime) produces the desired result in System Explorer: an empty field.

Not calling AFEventFrame.SetStartTime(object startTime) produces a date: 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM, aka the beginning of unix time.

Trying to call it with an "new AFTime()" or "new AFTime(0)" yields the same. Calling it with an empty string "" (since startTime is an object of undefined type) is even worse as the result is current date / current time.
