May I ask why does this message occur. I recently upgrade the System then when backfilling have error message.
When i checked in control panel theres still PI Data Archive 2015 installed and PI Server 2018 installer.
PI Server 2018 Installer contains a few products such as the Data Archive, AF Server, Asset Analytics, AF Client etc... I'm guessing you have some products from the 2018 installer, but the Data Archive was never upgraded. If you run the installer it should be clear whether or not the DA can be upgraded to 2018.
Thanks, hmmm as far as i remember there was an issue on the PI License. I think it didnt recognize the existing License of the customer so i didnt proceed. Maybe thats why theres still 2015 installer. Hmm for the pi license do i need to request or extract another license in the account of the client? then apply that along when upgrading the PI Data Archive? this is not in collective.
The old license file should work, unless there were a lot of changes on this machine. If that's the case you need to generate a new license by providing a machine signature file.
