PIPoint.FindPIPoints returns half the number of tags that PIDataLink returns.

I have a program that calls the following method below, and then calls another method (which I'll omit for the time being because it's probably unrelated to the problem) that exports the list to an Excel column.  This program returns around 27K tags, but when I do a search for "*" within PI Datalink in Excel, the returned list is almost twice as large.

        static List<string> ListOfAllTagsInArchive(PIServer serv)
        {
            IList<IEnumerable<PIPointQuery>> queries = PIPointQuery.ParseQuery(serv, "tag:=*", false,             OSIsoft.AF.Search.AFSearchTextOption.Contains);
            IEnumerable<PIPoint> tags = PIPoint.FindPIPoints(serv,queries,null);
            List<string> taglist = tags.Select(x => x.Name).ToList();

            return taglist;
        }

Do you have any idea why this program might not be finding all the tags on this server?

Thanks,

Greg
