devdata.osisoft.com Certificate is expired.
Gregor Beck could maybe check ?
ps i created also a ticket - 00785081
Can't even connect right now...so let me assume the certificate is being refreshed...
Hi Wolfgang Purrer and Roger Palmen,
We are looking into this but we are not yet actively working on the public PI Web API instance. To me it is accessible via browser after ignoring the certificate error.
Hmm, odd. I get a timeout on two different machines using completely different internet paths (corporate network vs mobile phone on LTE)
Doh... Forgot the https:// prefix.. I do get a connection, and can bypass the certificate expiration.
we use the public devdata for tests of our internal "PI Web Api python + R" Libraries, just to make sure that the libraries works, and we don't have any internal issues with the PI Web API
for example if a user tell us, the library is not working, then we try it out with public system, if this works it usually a system issue.
many libraries don't like "Certficate issues"
I like to update your question: It is with a sad heart but we are retiring the public PI Web API instance (https://devdata.osisoft.com/piwebapi).
Please refer to Public PI Web API retirement.
