I have a dilemma. I have some calculation functionality which is nicely implemented and working using AF and a simple exe which scans the results and writes them to AF designated tags for posterity. This makes for a simple general purpose AF calc historiser exe code and some re-usable AF calc templates. Unfortunately the customer requires that both raw input values and calc results must be on 15 minute boundaries 12:00, 12:15, 12:30 ...
If data is more than say 1 min off from 15 then it is discarded. If closer than 1 min then interpolation is allowed. My AF solution simply gives results whenever source values are available. This means that gaps are not recognised as such.
I can write .net code to step through 15 min at a time and make judgement/adjustments as it goes but this negates all the AF structure I have built.
My question is:-
Can AF be made to take source values at 12:00:10, 12:14:30, 12:30:35, 12:45:10, ....... 13:45:15 and generate input (interpolated where required) for calculations as follows
- 12:00:00, 12:15:00, 12:30:00, 12:45:00, NO_DATA_MARKER,........13:45:00
