    Coresight Lookup Attribute Display Error

    jharrel

We are getting strange display error within Coresight.  We have opened a ticket with Tech support and so far they are stumped as well.  The issue seems to be with AF lookup attributes that use more than one value substitution in where clause.

      • For example, an attribute with this formula will give a "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error when trying to display more than a few  hours of data.
        • SELECT [Value] FROM [%Element%] WHERE plant = '%\Element%' AND Train = '%..\Element%' AND [Temp1] = @[Var Temp1] AND [Temp2] = @[Var Temp2]
      • An attribute with the same formula with one substition works:
        • SELECT [Value] FROM [%Element%] WHERE plant = '%\Element%' AND Train = '%..\Element%' AND [Temp1] = @[Var Temp1]
      • An attribute with the same formula and hardcoded values also works:
        • SELECT [Value] FROM [%Element%] WHERE plant = '%\Element%' AND Train = '%..\Element%' AND [Temp1] =30 AND [Temp2] = 65

Below is a screenshot of the PI System explorer showing the value has no error in formula and also a screenshot of coresight showing the actual error.

Has anyone seen this before or know of any potential solutions?  Thanks in advance!
