Application built using PISDK - What steps are required to covert into a PI Interface??

Hi,

I have created an application using PISDK libraries (+ others) to retrieve values from our resource server and update points in a PI server.

I am now wondering if this application can be converted/modified to act as a "PI Interface" that can be managed/configured by ICU.

Can anyone point me in the direction of docs/examples of building a custom interface? in particular what 'hook's are required in my application to

allow it to be installed/configured/managed as an interface.

So far I have tried using my executable as the basis to configure an 'other_non_unit' interface in ICU by allowing my application to accept command line options such as '/host=PISERVER'

that are passed to it. and have been able to do a "Start Interactive" on the interface and install the service but not been able to start the service (It fails with a "Service failed to respond to start request" error)

Any suggestions/guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks

Ryan
