Unable to access OPC PI Servers remotely

I am a running a instance of the PI_OPCClient on my local machine and I connected to the OPC PI DA server remotely. After I add a group and try to browse through the tags, it throws me these errors-

"Unable to change browse position : ChangeBrowsePosition returns Generic failure"

"Unable to browse items: BroseOPCItemIDs returns Generic failure"


And when I try to add the item manually through its ItemID, it throws me this error -


"Unable to add item to group: AddItems returns Unknown ItemID"


I ensured that all the Firewall settings, DCOM settings are configured correctly. I am able to browse through the tags, add them manually and read values when I access this server locally (with the client also installed on the same machine) but it does not work remotely. Any thoughts on how I can get rid of these errors and view the data?
