Can anyone tell me whether PI-ACE works with Visual Studio 2013? I know that it does with 2012.
We are about to start a project where we will be doing ACE calcs and it would be good to use the latest version of VS if possible.
It seems to work OK for me in VS 2013. If you follow the instructions on the tech support website (http://techsupport.osisoft.com/techsupport/nontemplates/KB/article.aspx?id=KB00740) for enabling the add-in for VS 2012, and simply increment the version number in the PIACEWizard.AddIn file, then you should be able to use the ACE Wizard in VS 2013. The same annoying message about Tag Name/VB Variable Name is missing will still appear, but otherwise it seems to be just as functional as in earlier version of Visual Studio.
Thanks for this. I just wanted to make sure before a colleague bought VS 2013 and we then found it not to work.
