I was planning on bringing a sleeping bag, my onsie, and my eye mask this year to use in the hackathon room but I read in the instructions email the room is being locked. Is this really the case?
I think they don't want 50+ zombies walking around the conf on Wednesday. Do you watch the Walking Dead? I really don't want to have to take out any Zombied attendees.
It was supposed to be like that. But this week I have received the news that the room where the Programming Hackathon will take place will be opened the whole night. You can bring you sleeping bag! Just don’t sleep too much!
But Lonnie is right. We encourage all the participants to sleep some hours because there are a lot of activities during Day 1 and we want you to participate actively on them.
Until the end of this week, I will send an e-mail to all the participants about this change.
I will take the chance to let you know that there will be lunch between 11:30 AM and noon. At noon we will start the welcome presentation of the Programming Hackathon.
Let me know if you have any question,
I have 2 young kids, I normally operate on very little sleep.
Do we get any advanced notice of the REST / WebApi endpoints for AF? Or do we have to explore it for the first time as part of the hackathon?
No, you will explorer it for the first time on the Programming Hackathon but it is very easy to work with. This year, there will be a Programming Hackathon website with information about the data, description of the attributes and developer material with lots of HTML pages. Which platform do you plan to use?
