I have a Windows Service aggregating data and writing the data to specific tags. This is the Primary application. If it fails, the Standby copy starts and then should write the aggregated data to the same tags. The Primary and Standby Services are on separate Servers.
It appears that PI Buffering 'locks' the Standby Service from writing the data.
Is there a work-around for this issue ?
The same problem arises if I need to backfill some of the aggregated data from my workstation.
We are running PI 2010 in a HA Collective.
