In Part 2 of this Learning Lab we added a PI Gauge to a web part.  We will now create a new web part and add more PI WebParts.

Add a PI TimeRange, PI TreeView, PI Graphics and PI Trend web parts

Click the Exercise01 link from the Shared Document Web Part.
Click Site Action and Edit Page.
Click on the Add a Web Part button from the left column.
Select PI TimeRange and click Add, select PI TreeView and click Add again.

Click the Add a Web Part button from the Center Column web part zone.
Select PI Graphic and click Add, select PI Trend and click Add again.
From the PI TimeRange title bar click the drop down menu and select Edit Web Part.
In the Orientation section, Select Vertical and click OK.
From the PI TreeView title bar, click the drop down menu and select Edit Web Part.
Hit the Browse Button, and select the Solution_LearningLabs AF Database from the drop down menu.  Expand the Database and right click on the Plant Node.  Select the Plant Node as the Root Node and Unit 1 as the Default Node.

Root node:   \\pi-server\Solution_LearningLabs\Plant
Default node:   \\pi-server\Solution_LearningLabs\Plant\Unit 1

Click Ok, to exit the Configure AF Tree View window
Next, expand the Attribute Parents
Click on the Choose Attribute Parents button
Select the Solution_LearningLabs AF Database and expand the database until you see the Unit 1 Node
Check the Unit 1 Node
Click OK to exit both the PI TreeView Browse dialog and the configuration pane.
From the PI TreeView title bar, click the drop down menu, then Connections > Send client-side parameters to and choose the PI Graphic.

Click on the PI Graphic Web Part Edit button and select Modify Shared Web Part from the dropdown menu.
Click on the Connection button for the Selected file element from the configuration pane.

Select PI TreeView from the Connected web parts section and Graphic from the Connection field and click OK.
Notice that the Connection symbol turned green to indicate the presence an active connection.
Click Ok to exit and notice the PI Graphic Web Part updating.

You can now go to Part 4 to complete the Lab.
