sorry for my pool english
I have a PI RDBMS Interface, pi tag save in sql ,The speed of data storage in very fast, about 2-3 seconds,my location 4 is 1,just 10 minutes.
How to set the speed of the data to SQL,
There is obviously a lot of information that's missing here such as tag attributes, SQL query, what output model is used (Scan based or event triggered), Interface configuration, Source tag's data frequency...
Some reasons why you may have high frequency data being sent to SQL than expected:
1. Tag misconfiguration. Incorrect location1, incorrect point source. You might be mislead by looking at the wrong interface instance.
2. If the output tag's 'source tag' attribute has an entry pointing to a PI Point which in-turn would trigger your output tag to send a value every time your source tag has a new snapshot. So if your source tag receives a snapshot every 3 seconds, then the output tag is triggered every 3 seconds to send the value to SQL.
3. This one is just a theory; I am just putting this down as a possible scenario: If the interface is configured in failover and if they keep thrashing every 3 seconds, then you might see a value being sent to SQL every 3 seconds.
4. If you're performing output history recovery.
As far as troubleshooting goes, go through the above checklist and if you still cannot find the problem, I would turn on debugging to see additional information.
