What Causes an AF Display Builder Add-in error when I open a Processbook file?
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you, I was out on vacation. Before I left we discovered the issue had to do with the user coping link buttons from one display to another. When she originated the links in the display all worked fine. Thank you for your help with this issue.

Could you provide more information about the error you are seeing? Perhaps a screenshot of the error message?
A likely scenario could be that you are opening a PDI that someone built using ProcessBook 2014, using AF Display Builder functionality. If your own ProcessBook version is older than 2014, then it would not have the AF Display Builder and that might be why you are seeing an error.
Thank you for your response. I am attaching a Word document with the error. In the meantime I will check on the versions.
As far as I recall, 0x80004005 translates 'Access denied'. Can you please make sure the launching user has appropriate permissions to access the libraries? What happens if you launch PI ProcessBook with 'run as Administrator'?
If you still have the file the error occurs with, I'd like to have a look at it. You should not be getting the error just for copying from one PDI to another. In any case, I'm glad you got around it. You can email the file to email@example.com.
