I have PI System Explorer version 126.96.36.19996 . I want to create PI EF Template, but I cannot see option available in PSE. Do I have to enable it from some where?
You can go to command prompt and navigate to PIPC\AF directory and execute: afdiag /EnableEventFrames
You have to do this on the AF Server machine.
Thanks, I unable to recall that command .
One more doubt, This is okay that by executing this command the option "Eventframe Template" visible on server-side PSE. But my question is what if I want to enable this option on client side which has same or higher version of PSE than server-side one?
Actually I want to enable PSE on client-side to create eventframe templates and view them there only.
Recalling correctly, any client from AF v2.x onwards shows the EventFrame template if the server supports EventFrames.
Exactly as Roger Palmen wrote. If the AF Server supports EventFrames then any client will show EventFrame templates/Event Frames. Currently, in the newest AF Server packages EventFrames are enabled by default. After you run the afdiag /EnableEventFrames command you will have to either wait 5 minutes or restart the AF Server if you want this to take place immediately. If you run just the AFDiag command it will give you a summary of how the AF Server has been configured.
In AF 2012 (v2.5x), there were two versions of the AF Server, one of which included "PI AF Server Event Frames Enabler". If your installation did not include this, there was a reason. Most likely you were not licensed for PI Event Frames. Since AF 2014 (v2.6), the PI Server license has changed allowing all users access to PI Event Frames. If you're still using AF 2.5x, I encourage you to upgrade to the latest version of AF (2014 R2), which includes PI Event Frames by default. By the way, the reference to AF 2.5.2 is the AF client, there was never an AF Server 2.5.2.

Thanks Dan and Roger for info.
Stephen thanks for correcting. Ya, AF 2.5.2 is client version. After executing command to Enable Event Frames at server-side, I checked that EventFrame Template option is available on AF Client which is installed on the same machine.
My Problem is I have AF Client 2.5.2 5396 on another machine and I can connect the AF server which has Event Frames Enabled, but I can't see option of EventFrame Template on AF Client there.
So my question is that am I missing something or AF Client 2.5.2.x on different machine than AF Server cannot have EventFrame Template as an option in Templates?
There are no settings on the client side to see event frames. If you're having trouble with a client, even though the server has event frames enabled, please contact tech support.
Thanks Stephen for prompt reply. So the option "EventFrame Template" must be seen on AF Client regardless of the same machine has AF Server or not, but the connected AF Server has Event Frames Enabled. Please correct if I understood wrongly.
If you run AF Client 2.5.2 on two machines, one with AF Server, the other one without, you should see the same AF objects - as long as you're using the same credential.
On thing you may want to consider. When you use AF Client on the same machine as AF Server, you have to run AF Client as administrator. Are you doing the same on the other machine?
This could be a case of security issues. Make sure that the user running PSE on the different machine has permissions to access Event Frames on the AF Database.
I logged-in with the same credentials on AF Server to enable the Event Frames, as used on another machine which has AF Client. So, I think this might not be security issues.
