I need to perform the following task: develop an app (.NET, AF SDK) that sets some sort of monitor that will listen for changes in elements in an AF server and let me know when they occur.
By now I can do the following: given a AFDatabase object db I can set up a listener for whichever element I want for the event Changed and, whenever I want, I can perform db.Refresh() and, if changes were made in the database, the event Changed will be launched.
I would say it is better for me if I can avoid listening by myself (using db.Refresh()). Can it be done? If so, how?
Thanks a lot!
