Is there a way to set the Y-AXIS of a trend to be the SPAN of the tag. The span of this tag is from 0 - 100. This graph shows a range of -1.0 to 0.8 ---- Do the users have an option of panning out the Y-axis. All my points seem to have this issue.
Ah, we are talking about ad-hoc trends..
Unfortunately, scale adjustment for ad-hoc trends is not supported yet.
You can submit the enhancement request to our Tech Support team, firstname.lastname@example.org. Please refer to this thread if you do it.
The Database option in the scale settings will give you what you're looking for. It can be found in the trend settings in the corresponding PDI/PIW file.

P.S. I'll move this thread to All things PI space to see if PI Client specialists have more comments
Just to be more clear, I have converted a majority of our DCS into PI PDI screens that I've uploaded and linked to Coresight2014.
If I click a value, the trend pops up like the following picture. If the tag value magnitude hasn't changed much, the Y-Axis range is very small. Shown in the picture below:
This confuses some of our operators. They would just like to see the whole span so they can know right away if a flow/pump is off or on. This particular tag spans from 0 to 57MGD. Right now it only shows a Y-Axis span of 0.05 to 0.30 MGD.
Also, the "Trend Scale" option is greyed out/not selectable on a non-trend graphic.
